Embroidered Velvet Raksha Bandhan Cushion, 30 x 30 cm

Chocolates finish in a week and cash envelopes disappear even faster. This one stays on the sofa. A plush velvet cushion in a rich jewel tone, embroidered with a delicate rakhi thread motif and a sibling message worked in gold, it turns a festival gift into something your brother or sister actually lives with. At 30 x 30 cm it is the friendly, tuck under your arm size that suits a bed, a study chair, a hostel room or a car seat, and the velvet keeps its sheen long after the festival week is over.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. What size is it and where does it fit best?
It measures 30 x 30 cm. That compact size works beautifully as an accent on a two seater sofa, as a back support on a study chair, or as a bedside cushion in a hostel room.

Q2. How do I care for velvet without damaging it?
Dry clean is safest for embroidered velvet. For small marks, dab gently with a dry cloth. Do not rub the embroidery, do not machine wash, and keep it away from direct sunlight.

Q3. Will the gold embroidery come loose over time?
The message and rakhi motif are machine embroidered into the velvet rather than printed or glued, so with gentle handling and no rough washing they hold up very well.

Q4. Is this only meaningful during Raksha Bandhan?
Not at all. Customers gift it for birthdays, Bhai Dooj, farewells and rakhi anniversaries, and once it is on the sofa it simply reads as a warm, personal cushion year round.

Q5. Can I send this directly to a sibling in another city?
Yes. It is light and courier friendly, which makes it a popular long distance rakhi gift for siblings studying or working away from home.

Handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, this cushion holds a sentiment you will still notice on an ordinary Tuesday in November.
