Round Checkered 4x4 Photo Frame in Timeless Monochrome

Round frames are rare, and a good one is rarer still. This handcrafted piece carries a meticulous monochrome checkered pattern, with smooth square ivory toned tiles inlaid against a bold black resin border, curving cleanly all the way around. The 4x4 inch opening suits a close portrait beautifully, and the black and white palette means it works in a nursery, a study or a formal drawing room without adjustment.

Key Features

• Distinctive round silhouette: A circular form that immediately stands out among the usual rectangular frames on a shelf.
• Monochrome checkered inlay: Ivory toned square tiles set against a deep black resin border for crisp, graphic contrast.
• 4x4 inch opening: Ideal for close portraits, baby photographs and square prints straight from your phone.
• Curved 1.5 inch profile: 17 cm across with a substantial depth, giving the frame real presence for its compact size.
• Protective glass front: Shields your photograph from dust and gradual fading.
• Handcrafted in India: Hand inlaid over a durable MDF base by skilled artisans, at a light 280 g.

How to Style It

Pair it with a rectangular frame beside it so the circle becomes the focal point of the arrangement. It also looks striking as a single piece on a bedside table with nothing competing for attention.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. Does a rectangular photo fit this round frame?
A. The opening takes a 4x4 inch square photograph. Square prints from a phone fit directly, and a rectangular photo simply needs light cropping to a square before printing.

Q. Is the checkered border painted or inlaid?
A. Each ivory tile is individually set into the black resin border by hand, which is why the pattern has genuine depth and defined edges rather than a flat printed look.

Q. Can it stand on its own or does it need a support?
A. It is built for table top display with a stable base, so it stands on its own on any flat surface such as a desk, shelf or bedside table.

Q. How do I maintain the black resin border?
A. Wipe it with a dry soft cloth. Black surfaces show dust quickly in Indian homes, so a brief weekly wipe keeps the contrast looking sharp.

Q. Is monochrome decor a safe choice for gifting?
A. It is one of the safest. Black and white sits with every wall colour and furniture style, so you are not gambling on the recipient's taste the way you would with a coloured piece.
