Assorted Round Silk Centre Table Mat, Set of 2

A small change that makes a dining table look finished. This set of two round silk mats measures 36 cm across, which is the right size for a dinner plate with a katori beside it, or for a centre table where a vase, a lamp or a tray needs a soft landing. The silk surface carries an assorted decorative design with a subtle sheen that catches lamplight beautifully, which is why so many customers bring these out for Diwali dinners, pooja setups and family gatherings before putting them back into everyday use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Will a 36 cm mat fit a standard dinner plate?
Yes. A 36 cm diameter comfortably holds a standard 26 to 28 cm dinner plate with space around it for a katori or a glass at the edge.

Q2. How should silk table mats be cleaned?
Dry clean is recommended for silk. Wipe light spills immediately with a soft dry cloth and avoid soaking, wringing or machine washing, which can dull the natural sheen.

Q3. Can I place hot vessels directly on these?
Use them for plates, bowls, vases and serving trays rather than for very hot vessels straight off the flame. Add a trivet or coaster underneath anything extremely hot.

Q4. Are these suitable for a pooja or festive table?
They are a popular pooja room and festive choice. The silk sheen suits Diwali, Navratri and Satyanarayan setups, and the round shape works neatly under a thali or a diya plate.

Q5. Since the design is assorted, will both mats match?
The set is supplied as an assorted pairing, so the two mats share a coordinated look rather than being identical. Many customers find the slight variation adds character to the table.

Handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, this set is proof that a table setting does not need to be elaborate to feel special.
