Frequently Asked Questions

Is this sold as a pair or a single piece?

The product title and specifications above state whether this listing is for a single bookend or a pair. A pair is the usual choice, since a row of books needs support at both ends.

Will it hold heavy hardbacks?

It carries enough weight for normal shelf use, including textbooks and hardbacks. For a very long row, a bookend at each end works better than one alone.

What are the exact dimensions?

It measures 13 x 6 x 17 cm. Decor pieces almost always read smaller in a room than they do in a photograph, so it is worth measuring your shelf, table or wall space against those numbers before ordering.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, and use a lightly damp cloth for marks, drying immediately afterwards. Avoid abrasive scrubbers and harsh chemical cleaners, which dull a decorative metal finish.

Does it work as a gift?

Yes - it is a common pick for Diwali gifting, griha pravesh and housewarmings, wedding gifts and corporate hampers. It arrives ready to present and needs no sizing or personal preference guesswork.
