Frequently Asked Questions

Is it too large for a baby?

For a newborn, yes - a 40 cm teddy belongs on a shelf or a bed at that stage rather than in the cot. From the toddler years on, this is exactly the size children pick as their bed companion.

Is the scarf removable?

It is a stitched detail rather than a separate accessory. Check it along with the seams as your child gets older and rougher with the toy.

How do I wash it?

Gentle hand wash in cold water with a mild baby detergent, press the water out without wringing, and dry it fully in the shade. Stuffed and knitted toys hold moisture inside, so make sure the filling is completely dry before it goes back to your child.

How do I make sure it stays safe with use?

Check the seams and any stitched-on details every few weeks, especially once your baby starts chewing and tugging. If a seam opens or a detail works loose, repair it or stop using the toy - standard practice with any soft toy.

Does it work as a baby shower or newborn gift?

Soft toys are among the easiest newborn gifts - nothing to size, no clash with an existing wardrobe, and they stay in use well into the toddler years. A common pick for godh bharai, namkaran and first birthdays.

Please supervise young children during play, and check seams, buttons and attachments regularly for wear.
