Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose cotton knit over plush?

Cotton knit breathes, washes well and has a textured surface babies find interesting to explore. Plush is fluffier, but knit tends to hold up better through repeated washing, which matters in the first year.

Is 16 cm big enough to be worth it?

For a baby, small is the point. This is the size a young child can actually grip, lift and carry, which is what turns a toy into a favourite rather than a shelf ornament.

How do I wash it?

Gentle hand wash in cold water with a mild baby detergent, press the water out without wringing, and dry it fully in the shade. Stuffed and knitted toys hold moisture inside, so make sure the filling is completely dry before it goes back to your child.

It picks up dust quickly - what can I do?

Shake it out and wipe the surface with a damp cloth between washes. In dusty Indian cities a weekly shake and an airing in indirect sunlight keeps soft toys fresher and cuts down how often a full wash is needed.

Does it work as a baby shower or newborn gift?

Soft toys are among the easiest newborn gifts - nothing to size, no clash with an existing wardrobe, and they stay in use well into the toddler years. A common pick for godh bharai, namkaran and first birthdays.

Please supervise young children during play, and check seams, buttons and attachments regularly for wear.
