Frequently Asked Questions

Does it run on a battery?

Yes, it is a battery-operated analog clock. Use a good-quality battery and replace it as soon as the clock starts losing time - a leaking cheap cell is the commonest cause of damage to a desk clock.

Is it noisy?

It is a quiet analog movement suited to a bedside or study table. Any analog clock makes some sound in a completely silent room; this is not a loud ticking movement.

What are the exact dimensions?

It measures 13 x 11 x 15 cm. Decor pieces almost always read smaller in a room than they do in a photograph, so it is worth measuring your shelf, table or wall space against those numbers before ordering.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust the body and dial with a soft dry cloth, never a spray cleaner. Replace the battery as soon as the clock starts losing time, and take it out if the clock is being packed away - a leaking cell is what ruins a desk clock.

Would this make a good housewarming gift?

It is a reliable griha pravesh and housewarming choice - useful, decorative and neutral enough to fit whatever the recipient's interiors look like.
