Frequently Asked Questions

What kind of bulb does it take?

It takes a standard screw or pin-type bulb depending on the model - check the socket before buying a replacement. A warm-white LED of modest wattage suits this kind of decorative lamp best and runs cool.

Is the light bright enough to read by?

It gives warm, localised light suited to reading in bed, working at a desk or setting a mood in a living room - not whole-room lighting, which is what your ceiling fixture is for.

What are the exact dimensions?

It measures 9 x 15 x 42 cm. Decor pieces almost always read smaller in a room than they do in a photograph, so it is worth measuring your shelf, table or wall space against those numbers before ordering.

How do I clean it?

Switch it off and unplug it first, then dust the body and shade with a soft dry cloth. Never use water or spray cleaner on or near an electrical fitting, and keep the cord clear of table edges and walkways.

Does it work as a gift?

Yes - it is a common pick for Diwali gifting, griha pravesh and housewarmings, wedding gifts and corporate hampers. It arrives ready to present and needs no sizing or personal preference guesswork.
