My Cat Rules My House Velvet Cushion Cover, 46 x 46 cm

If you live with a cat, you already know who signed the lease. This 46 x 46 cm velvet cushion cover states the obvious in clean white lettering on a soft dusty pink base, with a small cat silhouette walking across the top. It is the kind of gift that gets a laugh and then quietly stays in the living room for years. The muted pink is easier to style than it sounds, sitting comfortably against grey sofas, cane furniture and white walls, and the velvet pile gives a plain seating setup a little depth.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Does this come with a filler inside?
No, this is a cushion cover only. Pair it with a standard 46 x 46 cm insert, or go one size up to 48 x 48 cm if you like a plumper, fuller finish.

Q2. Is velvet a bad idea in a home with cats?
Short pile velvet actually releases hair more easily than woven weaves. Run a lint roller or a slightly damp glove over it and most of the fur lifts away in one pass.

Q3. How do I clean it if my cat has a moment?
Blot immediately with a dry cloth, never rub. For anything beyond a light mark, dry cleaning is recommended so the velvet pile and the lettering stay intact.

Q4. Will this fade in a bright Indian living room?
Keep it out of direct afternoon sunlight and the tone holds well. Rotating the cushion every few weeks also keeps the colour even across the surface.

Q5. Is it a safe gift if I do not know their decor style?
It is. Dusty pink is a soft neutral rather than a bold statement, and the message does the work, so it lands well even when you have never seen their living room.

Handcrafted by skilled Indian artisans, this cover is an affectionate surrender to the small ruler of your household.
