Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. How do I care for a cotton velvet cushion?
Spot clean with a soft, damp cloth and mild soap, and dab rather than rub. Professional dry cleaning is recommended for a deeper clean. Brush the pile gently in one direction to refresh its sheen and avoid direct ironing.

Q2. Why does the velvet colour look different from some angles?
Velvet has a raised pile that catches light, so the shade can look lighter or deeper depending on the angle. This natural sheen is a hallmark of real cotton velvet and adds depth to the colour.

Q3. Will this size fit a standard cushion setup?
Yes. At 46 x 46 cm, it sits comfortably alongside standard 45 x 45 cm cushions on sofas, armchairs and beds.

Q4. Which colours go well with old pink?
Old pink pairs beautifully with ivory, grey, sage green, navy and gold, and adds a gentle warmth to neutral rooms.

Q5. Is this a good gift for Diwali or a housewarming?
Yes. Its handcrafted texture and statement design make it a thoughtful gift for Diwali, a griha pravesh, weddings or anyone who loves decorating their home.
