Frequently Asked Questions

Why do chess pieces work as decor?

The silhouettes are already iconic, so a single piece scaled up reads instantly even from across a room. That is why oversized chess pieces turn up on office desks and study shelves far more often than on boards.

Can I buy several to group together?

Yes, and that is how they look best - two or three pieces at different heights on a console or shelf read as a deliberate arrangement rather than one stray object. The king, wazir and horse are from the same series.

Is it a playable chess piece?

No, it is a decorative showpiece scaled well beyond playing size. It is bought as sculpture for a desk or shelf rather than as part of a usable set, and no board is included.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, and use a lightly damp cloth for marks, drying immediately afterwards. Keep abrasive scrubbers and chemical cleaners away - abrasion is what wears a decorative metal finish, not everyday handling.

Is it suitable for corporate gifting?

It is one of the standard choices for client and employee gifting, since it sits well on any desk or cabin shelf and needs no personalisation. Bulk orders are handled through the store.
