Frequently Asked Questions

Does it close?

Yes, it has a lid, which is what makes it a storage box rather than an open cup - useful if it travels in a bag rather than sitting on a desk.

How do I care for genuine leather?

Wipe it with a dry or barely damp cloth and keep it away from standing water, soap and direct sunlight. In humid weather, let it air out occasionally - leather stored in a closed cupboard through the monsoon is what develops mould.

Will it survive Indian humidity?

With basic care, yes. Keep it dry, wipe off any moisture and air it out on a dry day during the monsoon. Storing leather in a sealed plastic cover through a damp season is the main cause of mould.

Is this genuine leather or PU?

Genuine leather. It develops a natural patina with use rather than peeling the way coated PU eventually does, which is why leather desk pieces stay in use for years.

Is it suitable for corporate or bulk gifting?

Yes. It is a common pick for Diwali client gifting, employee hampers and dealer gifts, since it needs no sizing and suits any recipient. Bulk orders are handled through the store.
