Frequently Asked Questions

How is this different from a round cake stand?

It is elongated rather than round, so it suits a row of pastries, cupcakes or mithai better than a single cake. The lower height also makes it easier to reach across a crowded table.

Can I put a cake on it?

Yes, a smaller or rectangular cake sits well on it. For a standard round 1 kg cake, the palm leaf cake stand in this range is the better proportioned choice.

Can I serve food directly on it?

Use it for dry items - namkeen, dry fruits, mithai, cookies, wrapped chocolates. For anything oily or gravy-based, place small bowls on the surface instead, which also makes cleaning up far easier.

How do I wash it after serving?

Hand wash in warm water with mild dish soap and dry immediately with a soft cloth. Keep it out of the dishwasher - dishwasher detergent is harsh on decorative metal finishes.

Is it suitable for corporate or bulk gifting?

Yes, these are regularly bought for corporate and festive gifting - they pack well, need no personalisation and sit as comfortably in an office cabin as in a living room.
