Frequently Asked Questions

What is a long tray like this actually for?

Grouping. Objects scattered along a console read as clutter; the same objects sitting on a tray read as a deliberate arrangement. It also means you can lift the whole group in one go when dusting.

Which size suits my console?

Measure your console first. The 69 cm tray suits a standard entryway console; the 90 cm version is for a long console or a full dining table centre, and will look cramped on anything shorter.

Can I serve food directly on it?

Use it for dry items - namkeen, dry fruits, mithai, cookies, wrapped chocolates. For anything oily or gravy-based, place small bowls on the surface instead, which also makes cleaning up far easier.

How do I clean and maintain it?

Dust it with a soft dry cloth, and use a lightly damp cloth for marks, drying it immediately afterwards. Keep steel scrubbers, scouring powder and harsh chemical cleaners away - abrasion is what dulls a decorative metal finish, not everyday use.

Can I gift this at a housewarming or wedding?

It is a common pick for both. Aluminium pieces like this look considered without being personal, which is what makes them work when you do not know the recipient's decor well.
