Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between this and the Shreeyantra version?

This one has a wider, flatter 11 cm plate and a plain base, giving it more presence on a table. The other version carries an engraved Shreeyantra on the plate, which some people specifically want for vastu reasons.

Why do people keep a brass tortoise at home?

It is traditionally associated with stability, patience, longevity and steady prosperity, which is why it is placed at entrances, on desks and near cash counters, and given at housewarmings.

Will the brass tarnish over time?

Yes, brass darkens naturally, especially near a flame or in humid weather. A quick clean with lemon and salt or a standard brass cleaner brings the shine back, and drying it properly slows the process.

Is the tortoise fixed to the plate?

The figurine and plate are made to sit together as a set, so the piece stays balanced and stable wherever you place it.

Can I gift this at a housewarming or Diwali?

It is one of the safer gifting choices across age groups, and is regularly bought for griha pravesh, Diwali hampers, wedding shagun and office gifting.
