Drama Queen Embroidered Velvet Lumbar Cushion

Every family has one, every friend group has one, and now she has a cushion. This slim 46 x 23 cm lumbar cushion is finished in a bold red velvet with the words Drama Queen embroidered in a flowing script, topped with a tiny crown. It is affectionate rather than mean, which is exactly why it works so well as a gift for a sister, a best friend, a daughter or a flatmate who has never once entered a room quietly. The lumbar shape also earns its keep, offering genuine lower back support on a sofa or a work chair.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q1. Is a lumbar cushion actually useful or only decorative?
It is genuinely useful. The narrow 46 x 23 cm shape sits right at the lower back, which makes long stretches at a work desk or on a deep sofa noticeably more comfortable.

Q2. How should velvet with embroidery be cleaned?
Dry clean is the safest route. For everyday dust, brush gently with a soft cloth. Blot spills immediately and avoid scrubbing over the embroidered lettering.

Q3. Will it look out of place in a formal living room?
Used as a single accent against plain upholstery it adds a light, personal note. If your living room is very formal, it is often better placed in a bedroom or a study.

Q4. Is this a safe gift, or could the message be taken badly?
The tone is playful and widely read as a compliment about presence and personality. It is most loved by close friends, sisters and family who already share that humour.

Q5. What occasions does this suit?
Birthdays, Raksha Bandhan, friendship day, farewell gifting, bridesmaid boxes and housewarmings for a first apartment are the most popular reasons customers buy it.
